Chris Murray, Acting Deputy Director
Chris Murray is the Acting Deputy Director of the Office of External Affairs. Previously, Mr. Murray served as the Deputy Associate Director for Legislative Affairs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. Before joining FERC, he was the Energy Counsel for U.S. Senator Evan Bayh, a legal aide on the U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, and an independent consultant who provided a full range of strategic services to help non-profits, businesses, and foundations manage their energy and environmental portfolios. He is an attorney with a legislative, public relations, community organizing, and an electoral background who specializes in energy and environmental issues. Chris holds a J.D. from the University of California at Davis and a Bachelor of Philosophy from Miami University in Ohio.
