Ann F. Miles, Director
Ms. Miles is the Director of the Office of Energy Projects. The Office is responsible for siting infrastructure projects including licensing, administration, and safety of non-federal hydropower projects; authorization of interstate natural gas pipelines and storage facilities; and authorization and safety of liquefied natural gas terminals.
Ms. Miles joined the Commission in 1985. She has served in a number of managerial positions including Director of the Division of Hydropower Licensing, which is responsible for preparing environmental reviews of applications to construct and operate or relicense non-federal hydropower projects. Most recently, Ms. Miles served as Deputy Director of the Office of Energy Projects.
Ms. Miles has a M.S. in Resource Management from the University of Maryland.
