Message from Commissioner Marc Spitzer

“Effective December 14, 2011, I will be leaving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.

At this time I pause to reflect upon FERC's many accomplishments during the past five years on behalf of America's ratepayers. I am grateful for the dedication and hard work of the employees of this Agency to ensure a reliable supply of energy to the people of our Nation at just and reasonable rates. I also owe a debt of gratitude to my Commissioner colleagues, present and former, for their kindness, cooperation and good will.

I thank you all, and for the entire FERC family I wish you all the best.”
