Once Natural Gas pipeline projects become operational, safety is regulated, monitored, and enforced by the Department of Transportation. To report safety problems on pipelines, please visit the Department of Transportation's Office of Pipeline Safety.

Much of the information regarding Safety & Inspections of Natural Gas Pipelines is classified as Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII).
