Comments sent to [email protected] are not considered an official filing before the Commission or made part of the record. To file an official comment on a proceeding before the Commission, please follow our Rules of Practice at 18 CFR 385. You may also file comments related to a FERC project using eComment or eFiling.

As described in the Hydropower Filing Guide, certain submissions must be directed to the Regional Office that corresponds to the project.

Official Communication

All official communication with FERC on a specific case or proceeding must be filed using mail or delivery services, or filed electronically using eFiling or eComment. All communications regarding existing proceedings and cases should be identified by the name and docket number of the proceeding. Also, do not send materials directly to FERC staff unless specifically instructed to do so.
