FERC Chairman Richard Glick today announced his appointment of Renee Terry as a FERC Administrative Law Judge. Judge Terry first joined FERC’s Office of Administrative Litigation in 2005.
Prior to today’s appointment, she had been serving as a Supervisory Trial Attorney, having initially served at FERC as a trial attorney.
Judge Terry has a long career in the energy sector, having served as a Hearing Officer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Department of Public Utilities on energy and telecommunications issues. She also served as an Attorney-Advisor for the Federal Communications Commission and, in the private sector, served as Director of Regulatory Affairs at e.spire Communications and Director of Regulatory Affairs & Corporate Counsel at Xspedius Communications.
Judge Terry earned her Juris Doctor from the Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the District of Columbia Bar.
