The unit commitment test system consists of a data set that can be used to construct RTO-scale unit commitment problems. Much of the data set, including generator and demand information, is publicly available in FERC's eLibrary, under docket AD10-12-002. However, the network portions of the data set and sample model input files are subject to Critical Energy Infrastructure Information (CEII) restrictions. The unit commitment test system can be used to study commitment and dispatch algorithms similar to the type used in wholesale electricity markets.
