The FERC’s Landowner Helpline is managed by the Dispute Resolution Service (DRS).

DRS staff are neutral and independent professional mediators who facilitate communication between landowners and natural gas companies.

DRS staff assist landowners with:

  • Construction-Related Concerns and Damages from Interstate Natural Gas Transmission Pipelines, Natural Gas Storage Projects, and Liquified Natural Gas Projects
  • Land Access Disputes
  • Executed Easement Disputes (pre-existing easement agreements; DRS cannot help landowners negotiate a new easement)
  • Land Restoration Disputes (revegetation, settling or subsidence, erosion, or drainage)
