FERC Announces 2016 Commission Open Meeting Schedule Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Chairman Norman C. Bay has announced the schedule for the Commission's open meetings for calendar year 2016. Meetings take place on the third Thursday of every month except September, when the Commission will meet on the fourth Thursday. FERC does not meet in August.
The open meeting dates for calendar year 2016 are as follows:
- January 21
- February 18
- March 17
- April 21
- May 19
- June 16
- July 21
- September 22
- October 20
- November 17
- December 15
The meetings, at FERC's headquarters at 888 First Street, N.E., in Washington, D.C., are open to the public consistent with the Government in the Sunshine Act.
