MOU
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) of India today signed a two-year extension to a 2011 agreement to share information and regulatory practices.
The extension of the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by FERC Chairman Norman Bay and PNGRB Chairperson S. Krishnan.
This is the second extension of the MOU between the two agencies. The first extension to the 2011 agreement was signed in 2013. This latest extension expires June 30, 2017.
The MOU involves an exchange of information and consultation, training and technical assistance between the two entities.
